About this project:
We decided to team up with the Eco club at school and tackle this
project at full force. We have been placing signs on the already
existing recycling bins that say in some form or another that plastic
is ok to put in there. We have been telling other students about it.
We had a set up at the local Earth day celebration last year about
recycling. We collected, cleaned, and sorted the plastic water bottles
that were thrown away during CSAP testing here at Palmer. We will
continue to give presentation about it and hopefully get the entire
student body involved not only here at Palmer but also at home.
