Our group START (Students Talking About Respect and Tolerance) go to the elementary schools and give presentations to the younger students about respecting others and how to deal with a bully. Our presentations include skits on the wrong way and the right to treat each other, we share our own personal stories about being bullied or being a bully, the younger students share their own stories about how they have been treated and we ask the students to sign a Promise Poster, promising to respect each other, include everyone and help those that are being bullied. The younger students are very responsive to our presentations. We go to the classrooms every year with a new presentation and remind them about their promise to be respectful to each other.
