Organizational Partnerships
The PeaceJam Foundation has announced a ten year Global Call to Action (GCA) campaign to address the most pressing issues facing humanity through one billion projects aimed at the root causes of these issues. To accomplish this goal, PeaceJam is calling on youth-focused community based organizations, faith based organizations, educational institutions, and other groups to enter into GCA Organizational Partnership Agreements, solidifying their commitment to the GCA and helping to reach one billion acts of peace.
What does it mean to be a GCA Organizational Partner?
Global Call to Action Organizational Partners will make the commitment to supporting and sustaining the ten-year Global Call to Action campaign by:
-
Making the Global Call to Action an institutional priority-- educating all involved on the issues addressed in the GCA, aligning organizational practices with the GCA, and lending the organization’s name in support of the Global Call to Action,
-
Planning, implementing, and registering GCA Projects each year,
-
Educating communities and constituents about the Global Call to Action and engaging others in creating/implementing/registering GCA Projects,
-
Agreeing to act as a resource to others implementing GCA projects by providing resources such as expertise, information, membership, or technical support to other groups participating in the Global Call to Action,
